11-Point AI Deep Scan

The signals we check to measure how AI sees your business

What is it?

When we run a deep scan, we're checking 11 specific signals that AI systems use when deciding whether to recommend your business. Think of it like a health checkup - we're looking at the vital signs that matter.

The 11 Points We Check

1. Direct Mention

Does AI mention your business name when asked about your category?

2. Recommendation Position

Where do you appear in the list? First, third, or not at all?

3. Category Association

Does AI understand what services you provide?

4. Location Accuracy

Does AI know where you're located and what areas you serve?

5. Attribute Recognition

Does AI mention your unique qualities? (24/7 service, family-owned, etc.)

6. Review Sentiment

What tone does AI use when describing your business?

7. Competitive Context

How does AI position you relative to competitors?

8. Citation Sources

What sources is AI pulling your information from?

9. Query Consistency

Do you show up for different phrasings of the same question?

10. Information Accuracy

Is the information AI shares about you correct?

11. Confidence Level

How confidently does AI recommend you vs hedging with caveats?

Why it matters

Each of these signals contributes to whether AI decides to recommend you. A business might have great reviews but poor category association - meaning AI doesn't know what they actually do. Or they might be mentioned, but always in third position.

The deep scan shows you exactly where you're strong and where you need work.

Example

Sarah's Bakery scored 72/100 overall, but the deep scan revealed her "Location Accuracy" was only 40% - AI thought she was in the wrong part of town. One fix to her Google Business Profile later, her score jumped to 85.
